In last week's blog, I candidly shared with you about my September Reset. (If you missed it, click here to catch up).
A number of you told me that you were inspired by my blog and planned to make some changes to your daily routine, too. Yeah!! 🎉 🥳 🎊
You might be wondering how I'm doing so far with my September Reset. Here is my score card for the first week:
❇️ Goal #1: Eat healthier
I'm happy to report that I've resumed my weekly organic meal kit delivery and have cut back on eating sweets. I still ate more sweets than is good for me, but I've definitely cut back. I count that as a success!
❇️ Goal #2: Resume my daily walks in nature
I'm thrilled to report that I walked every day. The walks felt great (the cooler temps helped, too!), and I often encountered some interesting characters on my walks. This week I watched a guy do acrobatic tricks on a tightrope he had strung high up between two trees. It was inspiring to watch his sense of balance.
❇️ Goal #3: Get on my yoga mat every day
And finally, I did make it onto my yoga mat every day. I played around with new sequences and let my body guide the movements. Most of the sessions were short, but I kept my promise.
I would give my efforts a 7 out of 10 this week. Not bad for the first week.
I'm excited that some of you plan to make tweaks to your daily routines too. Yeah!! 🎉 I'm cheering you on.
I thought about how I could support you with your habit changes. I decided to create a Habit Tracker for you!

The habit tracker allows you to track your new habit(s) between now and year-end. You can cross off each day with a pen or use stickers (e.g., gold stars) for each day you accomplish your goal.
I use three copies of the habit tracker to track my three individual goals. They're sitting on my kitchen counter, so I see them whenever I grab a glass of water.
It's super motivating to see the progress (and a gentle reminder if it gets towards the end of the day and it hasn't been crossed off yet 😉).
And the best part: you get to reward yourself at year-end. What might your reward be? Make it something good. You deserve it!
Feel free to share this habit tracker with friends. It's often more fun to try out new routines with others.
Best, Christine
