Hi there, I hope you're doing okay.
With all the negative news out there, it's easy to get lost in the gloom. I totally get it.
During times like this, it's super important to take care of ourselves. After all, we cannot pour from an empty cup.
Today's newsletter is short: I want to simply share a quick wellness tip with you.
Earlier this week, I spent two beautiful days at Kripalu in the Berkshires. I served as a Trustee on Kripalu's Board for eight years, so this place will always have a special place in my heart.
During my stay, I went on a two-hour hike. I paid attention to the bright colors of the leaves, listened to the wind, and felt the cool air on my face.
Let me tell you: it was just what the doctor ordered. It was like a mini-vacation for my soul.
It was an important reminder that nature has this fantastic way of helping us hit the reset button.

So, your mission -- should you choose to accept it -- is to put on a pair of comfy sneakers and go outside for a walk. Seriously, even if it's just for 10 minutes, do it.
Trust me, some fresh air and paying attention to nature (without a phone or AirPods) can do wonders when you feel weighed down.
Remember that taking care of yourself is not selfish; it’s necessary. Especially when the world feels heavy, we must put an oxygen mask on ourselves before we can help others. This might sound cheesy, but it's so true.
