Remember the movie "Happy Feet"?
Okay, it might be a bit out of season to be dancing on ice (when it's the middle of summer and we had another super hot week), but it's still so cute to watch.

Are your feet ready to dance to "Happy Feet"?
You might not feel like dancing if you're suffering from Plantar Fasciitis.
What is Plantar Fasciitis?
The Plantar Fascia is a long, thin ligament of connective tissue that lies directly beneath the skin on the bottom of your foot. It connects your heel to the bones of the ball of your foot and supports your foot's arch. Plantar Fasciitis occurs when that strong band of tissue becomes irritated and inflamed.
If you suffer from Plantar Fasciitis, you might notice a stabbing pain at your heel, usually first thing in the morning. The first few steps you take in the morning are often quite painful. As you take more steps, the pain gradually goes away.
Does that sound familiar?
To have you dancing to "Happy Feet" in no time, there are exercises that are very effective in removing your heel pain.
Check out my 4-minute video to learn three simple stretches you can incorporate into your daily routine to combat Plantar Fasciitis. Since the pain is usually most pronounced in the morning, you might want to do these stretches as soon as you wake up, seated at the edge of your bed.
Let me know which of the three stretches worked best for you! My favorite is the second one.
Best,
Christine
