Taking incremental steps towards the best version of you!

Is it just me or did the last few months fly by? Tomorrow is Halloween. We only have 63 days left until year-end.

I don't tell you that to scare you (but you might want to start your holiday shopping early given the supply chain issues this year!), but to remind you that every day is an opportunity for a fresh start. Every day is an opportunity to eat healthier, move more, spend more time on things you enjoy, and work towards the right balance in your life.

You have 63 more opportunities this year to take incremental steps towards the best version of you! Yippee!

Earlier this year, I encouraged you to set goals for 2021 to help you make progress towards your dream life. I provided you with journaling prompts and a life reflection worksheet. Click here to take another look at that blog.

With 63 days left this year, I invite you to revisit this worksheet. Spend some time with a cup of tea or a glass of wine to jot down your highlights year-to-date, your year-end goals, and possible action items within the various areas of your life. You might be surprised by what you discover!

This exercise may help you figure out how to spend your time more intentionally, so you create the life YOU want to live! Are there areas in your life that you have been neglecting and that need more attention? What changes could you make over the next 63 days?

I think you'll agree that most of us need more fun and enjoyment in our lives. For an extra bonus, you might want to jot down a list of what makes you happy so you'll remember when life gets busy. For me, that list includes:

  • Reading a book while lying in bed
  • Cuddling with my partner Charles
  • Scratching Ms. Ringtail's belly and hearing her purr
  • Going to the movies in the middle of the day
  • Taking walks along the Charles River
  • Getting a deep-tissue massage
  • Walking around town and snapping photos
  • Doing a sewing, knitting, or embroidery project
  • Taking a yoga class with my favorite teacher
  • Daydreaming about Bali

What's on your list?

Best,
Christine
