Want an energizing pick-me-up in between meetings?

Does your typical workday consist of meeting ... after meeting ... and then another meeting?

Does it seem that the arrival of Zoom has given managers an excuse to schedule even more meetings?

And now that meetings are virtual, are you more exhausted than ever because you don't even get to walk from one meeting to another to reset your brain and regain your energy in between meetings?

If you can relate, I want to show you my little secret to regaining energy and getting mental clarity in between meetings.

It takes just a couple of minutes and can quickly re-energize you: it's called the Breath of Joy. It's done standing and involves the movement of your arms and your torso.

I regularly do it in between meetings. I also sometimes do it at the beginning of my workday if I'm feeling sluggish and fatigued. Note that if you have high blood pressure, you might want to skip this energizing breath technique.

By the way, if you're the one running the meeting, you could start by asking everyone to stand and join for the Breath of Joy. By energizing your meeting participants at the beginning of the meeting, you'll likely have a much more productive session. Or if you're running a long meeting (which I don't recommend), you could schedule a Breath of Joy break session.

I recorded a 3-minute video for you to show you how it's done.

Try it for a few days and let me know what it does for you.

Best,

Christine
