3 Tips for Deepening Your Extended Puppy Pose | Yoga Pose Tutorial
Wellness & Yoga with Christine | AUG 17, 2024

Today I want to share part two of my four-part series of tips for specific yoga poses.
Today's focus is Extended Puppy Pose. This yoga pose combines Child's Pose and Downward Facing Dog.
I often include this pose in my classes before we get into our first Downward Facing Dog. Why? It helps open up your shoulders and upper back and strengthens your spine. It's a great preparatory pose for Down Dog. Both poses are inversions (where your heart is higher than your head), which help your circulation and make you feel more calm.
To help you with this pose, I recorded a 2-minute YouTube video sharing my 3 tips to deepen your Extended Puppy Pose. Be sure to check it out. If you like the video, I would be honored if you gave it a thumbs up so YouTube will show it to more people.
This video will help you find a deeper stretch in Extended Puppy Pose.
Best,
Christine
